Disclaimer for Penetrex Balm Kenya

Penetrex Balm is a balm for external use. It is applied to the skin, and a doctor or pharmacist is the person to ask about any health concern.

What kind of product is Penetrex Balm?

Penetrex Balm is a balm for external use. It is not a medicine and does not replace medical treatment. You apply it to the skin, in a thin layer, over the area where you would like a cool, fresh, gently warming balm as part of your day.

The site describes the balm by its format, scent, texture and ingredients. We do not present it as a medicine, and nothing on the site should be read as a statement that it prevents, diagnoses or manages any health condition.

The full ingredient list, the method of use and the precautions are printed on the carton. Please read the carton before you use the balm.

What about medicines and medical care?

  • Do not stop any medicine prescribed for you. If a doctor has prescribed medicine, treatment or exercises, continue to follow that advice. A balm is a daily comfort; it sits alongside medical care and never takes its place.
  • If you have symptoms, see a doctor. This includes pain that is severe, that lasts, or that comes with swelling, fever or numbness. A doctor can look at your situation properly, which no website can do.
  • Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are allergic to aspirin or other salicylates, or if you would like to use a balm on a child.

The safety page gives the everyday precautions for balms with menthol and methyl salicylate in detail, including a simple patch test, care around the eyes and broken skin, and how to store the tube.

What should I do if my skin reacts?

Stop using the balm and wash the area with water if your skin becomes red, itchy, sore or uncomfortable. Keep the balm away from your eyes, the inside of your nose and mouth, and from broken or irritated skin. Wash your hands after you apply it.

If the reaction continues, or if you feel unwell, speak to a doctor or pharmacist and take the carton with you so they can see the ingredient list. The carton lists every ingredient, and you can read the same list on the ingredients page.

Is the information on this site personal advice?

No. The articles, guides and product pages on penetrex.co.ke are general information, written by an editorial team for a broad readership. They describe everyday habits and the way a balm fits into daily life, such as the joint care and muscle care pages.

They are not a diagnosis, a prescription or advice tailored to you. Every person is different, so please use your own judgement and ask a doctor or pharmacist about anything that concerns you.

We work to keep the pages accurate. The carton is the primary source for the product: if the site and the carton ever differ, follow the carton. If you notice anything, tell us at hello@penetrex.co.ke.

Customer reviews are personal impressions of everyday use, such as scent, format and ordering. They are individual experiences and are not medical statements. You can read them on the reviews page.

How are images used on the site?

The photographs of products and people on penetrex.co.ke are there to illustrate. Product pictures show the tube and carton. Pictures of people show the kind of everyday situations the guides talk about, such as a farm, a workshop, a market stall, a matatu or an office. They are illustrations, and the people shown are not named and are not endorsing the product.

Why do shop names appear on the site?

The where to buy page and the pages for Goodlife Pharmacy, Haltons Pharmacy, Pharmart, MyDawa, Jumia Kenya and Kilimall mention pharmacy and marketplace names. We use these names only to describe where shoppers search for products online and in shops.

The site has no arrangement with any of these businesses. Their names belong to them, and their appearance here is not a sign of partnership, endorsement or availability.

Penetrex Balm Kenya is an information and order site and does not sell products directly. Orders are confirmed by phone and delivered by the product’s distributor in Kenya.
