Penetrex Balm is for external use on the skin. Keep it away from the eyes and broken skin. People who are allergic to aspirin or salicylates, who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who are thinking of using it on a child should ask a doctor or pharmacist first. The safety page has all the notes.
The scent is fresh and herbal, mint and eucalyptus together. I put a thin layer on my knees after work and it feels cool first, then pleasantly warm. It has become part of my evening.
The tube slips into my bag without any fuss. Clean skin, a little balm, press lightly, done. I like how simple it is after a long day behind the wheel.
I left my name and number, the operator called the same evening and was patient with my questions. The tube arrived sealed and I paid when it reached me. The scent is lovely.
After a day on my feet in the shop I rub a little on my shoulders and neck. The cooling feel is the first thing I notice and it is very pleasant.
The lavender note makes it feel calm, not harsh like some rubs I have tried. I apply it before bed and look forward to it.
I apply it in the evening after the shamba. A thin layer goes a long way, so the tube feels generous. The mint and eucalyptus smell is very fresh.
